March on the Market House: Fayetteville NC 19 Jan 2009; A Cry for Justice...

Wow...

Is this some exciting stuff or what???

Wow…Does this stuff get any better than this or what???
As all of you know, I have been blogging about the unjust fatal police shooting of a honor roll Fayetteville State student in Fayetteville NC on thanksgiving day… K-Roc, the young man gunned down by a renegade police officer, only crime according to witnesses was “walking in his community while black!!! According to witnesses, K-Roc was shot in the back while his hands were raised in the air…” “What is that about???” Regardless to what might have been the officer’s reasoning for shooting that dreaded night; how can the officer or anyone else justify shooting an unarmed black man in the back??? Can someone answer me that question??? Someone asked me why I am so adamant about getting this information out to the people; well because K-Roc could have been me or you that dreadful night… It is important to know that this renegade officer became the “Judge, Jury, and exercutioner” on all “blacks and people of color” that night…Say it aint so???But unfortunately it is…

Yea, what "Jack Nicholson" said about "niggers" in the movie "The Departed."
It looks like on every hand we as a people are being misused and abused and killed and no-one cares. If you haven't yet checked out what "Jack Nicholson" said at the beginning of the movie, "The Departed," please do!Paraphrasing; He said "the problem with "Niggers" is that they always wait for somebody to give them something when all they need to do is take it." Check it out...A very powerful Line in a movie from a very respected actor. But "Jack" is right..."Enough is Truly Enough!" It is "Time out for all this BS and no positive results.Michael Baisden, people fear him because he had the balls to put them on "Blast" and make it "ring!" He was very effective in bringing attention to the Inequalities that exit in the country these days.Let's keep this momentum going! They are taking us out it seems everyday and if we don't get pissed off like the French are right now and stand up and say "Enough is Truly Enough!"Then Jack was right..."We have a serious problem!" I am not talking about violence. I am talking about voicing to open a dialogue in order to obtain a positive outcome for total equality and recognition. Michael Baisden is a modern day "Martin!"Either way, when people of power hear his name they see change (Balls for a-change).Now they are busy trying to find a way or ways to stop him and all of us who are ready for the next level of change in to Complete Equality. And all those who don't want this type America should leave the Country...This is what the Fore-fathers and founders of this great land fought for; peace and equality-for every man, woman, boy, and girl; black, white, brown, yellow or red...I am with it so it's time to "do what "Jack" said..." So I am calling for all blacks, African Americans, and people of color; to join the family of K-Roc and me on 19 January 2009 in a “March on this Market house (former slave selling place) City…” If you are a “culturally conscious” believer in social justice, then join us in this “show of unity” against all injustices we as a people have experienced in this country; past and present!!!” This is the only way we as people can insure that our voice is heard and the “seeds of Change” are planted to prevent situations like this from happening again…Do you feel me???I am sure you can…Wow…“People united can never be defeated!!!”So spread the word by speading this blog around to “Culturally Conscious” people of color around the world… This is about our heritage as a people and how we will be treated in the future here, around the country, and around the world…” We can not sit back and let this horrific “injustice” go without making a “loud cry of “No Justice, No Peace!!!”"Do you feel me???Do you feel me???Then say Yesh!!!Say Yeah!!!Yes we can!!!
Wow…We must come together as a peole and not allow this honor student”s tragic death to be in vain… Whether Rev. Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson shows up; we must show up!!!” Whether Michael Baisden or Thom Joyner broadcast this historical event in the historical city; we must broadcast it on every webpage, email address, and cell phone we have… We must not wait for the so-called leaders of our people to get on board because we can’t afford to wait… Not this time…Not this year…Not this people…We must show up, stand up, and speak up against this injustice and injustices everywhere…
Hopefully all of our leader will show up and get on board, but (big get-on-board but in the room) we must forge ahead as a people with a purpose for our own destiny…
Please leave your comments of encouragement and support… “Cry Out Loud (COL) for Justice” and be a part of history on the “March on the Market House in Fayetteville NC” 19 January 2009…Somebody say yes!!!Yes!!!Yes we can!!!

"The Audacity of the "Pulpit Pimps!!!""

It appears that the church has lost it’s “salt…”

This post is in reference to the unjust shooting of a 26 year old Fayetteville State student on Thanksgiving day I have been blogging on from the very beginning…

All the facts are not in but one thing is for sure is that “K-Roc” was a 3.8 gpa student striving to exscape the stigma of his community and make something out of himself when he was shot in the back by a “renegade” Fayetteville Police officer…

Now to the “salt” question??? The Pastors have fail the citizens of this community by not coming out to address this incident and the community… Right now the only thing this young black is guilty of is “walking while black!!!”

Wow…

What is that about???
Culturally Speaking there should have been an outcry from the local churches because not only was this unarmed man shot in the back; He had both his hand raised in the air… This could have been anybody out for a walk… Why did the Police shoot should be the question the “Pastors” should be asking… But (big black “Pul-Pit-Pimp” but in the room) nothing!!!
These Pastors actions give credence to Micheal Baisden’s reference to them as “Pulpit Pimps!!!” When I first heard this kind of talk from Baisden, I was appalled… I love Micheal but ( big phat but in the room) I could not get wit him on this until now…
http://www.pulpit-pimps.org/
Now I have a real understanding of the “Phrase!!!” One definition of the word “Pimp”
is “to exploit!!!”
I believe this is exactly what these “Pulpit Pimps” are doing…
Exploitation!!!
When we as a people give our tithes and offering every Sunday, we believe that these men and women are there for us… We believe that, as Martin did, these Pastors will at least address what appears to be an injustice in our community… But (big Phat Black Pimp but in the room) to my dismay, this is not true…
“We the people” are left to defend ourselves the best way we can…Now when “we the people” turn against the church and stop paying our money then these “Pulpit Pimps” will get the picture… It is time out for the “status quo” treatment from the “Pulpit!!!”We the people are hurting while these “Pulpit Pimps” are sitting back getting fat (I did not say, “Phat!!!”) on our hard earn tithes and offerings…
Who do these pastors answer too???
Who knows???
Actually appears to be “no one…”
What's that about???
A friend of mine said that when the national media shows up so will the Pastors… So are they doing what God has ordained them to do… I say, “No!!!”
Then why are we treating them as “God’s anointed???” That is a good question… There use to be a time when the Pastor visited the sick himself… A time when the Pastor would feed the hungry himself… A time when the Pastor would visit those that are incarcerated them self… Why??? Because that is the great commission supposedly God called them to follow…
What happened???
“Who knows???”
I say, “Woe unto the Pastors!!!” Jer. 23:1…

"The Many Faces of Fayetteville NC!!!"

Wow...
Is this some exciting stuff or what??? Lets start this post by saying I appreciate all the folks that stopped by and commented to my blog... I don't expect everyone to always agree with what I write, but (big black but in the room) I do expect you to respect my "constitutional right" to write it...
Dahhhhhhhh!!!
"Culturally Speaking," let me say that, we as a people, have a lot of work to do in order to rewrite the wrongs our community has suffered for years... I am presently in Fayetteville NC...
As most of you know; I have been writing about what many, in this small former capital of NC and slave selling city, called an unjust shooting on thanksgiving day... I had the unfortunate opportunity to visit the scene where the young man (K-Roc) was shot down... The blood stained street brought back vivid images of a time gone past when black blood ran freely in the street by the hands of another that Malcolm referred to as the "white devils..." Today we have Obama and civil rights, but (the big phat black but in the room) has things really changed that much from then until now??? Hummmmmmm???
I don't know, but (another big black but in the room) one thing is for sure, witnessing the blood stains still in the street after a week or more in the shadows of the (Slave) market house, brought those "oh so vivid" horrible reminders back stronger than ever before... I asked the primary witness (Melvin Gary) who live directly in front of the scene of the incident, did the city clean the street??? He said, "No!!!" I then began to try to see where the police had did their crime scene marking to penpoint all crucial information such as the placements of each shell casing, trajectories and vectors diagrams, and crime scene sketches... To my surprize there were no other markings on the street except a "blood stain..." So I asked the eyewitness (Mr Gary), if they had put any flags out to mark those types of things??? He said, "He never saw them do anything like that..."
Then Mr. Gary and I, met with a long time community activist named Minister Eronomy Mohammed about the shooting...
Minister Mohammed encourged us that he was actively involved with this case... He said that he had contacted the Fayetteville Police Chief and his assistant... He said he also contacted the attorney generals office in Raleigh NC and the Governor's office in reference to the same... We also talked about the SBI's report status... Minister Mohammed said that regardless of the, so called, SBI clearing the officer; there is nothing clear or closed about this case... He assured us that the attorney general's office, the congressional black caucus of NC, and the National NAACP out of Raleigh were very much interested and active in this case... Therefore, case aint closed and will not be closed until the family of "K-Roc" which is the same family of "Anthony Lee Winston" are vindicated...
Wow...
That's some powerful stuff but (another big phat but in the room) please allow me to go lateral here for a minute... How is it that none of the so-called national black leaders (House Niggers) never returned any calls... Who am I referring too... I am glad you asked, because here goes a few names: Rev. Al Sharpton, the Rev. Jesse Jackson (not sure whether he got the message), Roland Martin, and the leader of the Jena six movement- Micheal Baisden... I am so tired of these so called black activist not at least returning the call...
Ok, ya'll lighten up!!! "House Nigger" is a figure of speach to get a point across... I can hear you now saying, "who does he think he is???" I hope I got your attention though... There are people here hurting because of this unjust act of "Renegadiousness!!!" For as we know, this renegade cop could be a "Klan Plant..." "R-Roc" was not the first shooting that this officer was involved in this year... I was told that the Local black ministers were scared and that is why none of them came out to say something publically about this unjust shooting... Privately though I did speak with a very prolific southern black preacher who expressed the tragedy of this incident... Whether they are scared or asleep, a mother cries at night over a son who will not see another thanksgiving day with her due to being shot in the back with his hands up on the street he lived on by the very person who is suppose to protect him... Hummmmmm!!! For as we know, "K-Roc's" only crime was "walking while black" in his own neighborhood... To top it all off, Mr Gary reported that even when EMS arrived on the scene that dreaded night (yes it was at night) they did not render life saving CPR for almost 30 minutes...
What's up with that???
Check it... So we have a renegade cop, a non responsive ems, a non crime scene marking by local police or SBI, and a completely silient local black minister's group... Wow... Sounds like these "good ol boys" have got a "lock" on Fayetteville NC... The only minister that has had anything to say has been Minister Mohammed and they have denounced him as a looney... Well looney or not, he ain't no "House Nigger!!!" So Minister Mohammed is leading the charge for justice for the family of these young men - Past and Present!!!
Wow...
Now please allow me to not be one-sided in my "Cultural Perspective!!!" Fayetteville NC is more than a place where renegade cops still roam free... Fayetteville NC is also the city adjacent one of the largest military bases in the world... Home of the 82nd air borne division, Fayetteville is known world wide... After years of strip clubs, prostitutes, and drug dealers thick as thieves on Hayes Street, Fayetteville has done a considerable about of work to do away with "Ricks Lounge" and the like; replacing them with a new jail, town hall, and Air Bourne museum... But (big slave house black but in the room) all these changes still remain in the shadow of the "Market House," one of the most racsist symbols of our horrific past as a people... Yes a lot has changed and indeed there are alot of things that remain the same... Though one would be remiss to say that things have not changed and it is this change that we as a people are fighting to see continue... Change for a brighter more equal inclussive tomorrow... This is the image I believe Fayetteville whats to be known for not that of decades of renegade cops killing young black men in cold blood...
Chilling???
I dare say so...
Here is an excert from an article from the Fayetteville Observer which indicates the "face" that Fayetteville wants the world to see...
Plan to end homelessness face obstacles!!!
http://www.individual.com/story.php?story=93268493

"James Jacobs, another Salvation Army resident, moved in Dec. 1. He said he got divorced and was laid off this year in Kentucky. He worked on computer networks.
"The economy is bad," the 49-year-old said. "Normally, I can get a job right away."
Jacobs, an Army veteran and former reservist, wound up in Fayetteville. He said he spent a few months in the Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Ramsey Street for treatment of depression and other mental health problems.
According to the local homeless census in January, about 8percent of people counted were veterans; 5 percent had serious mental illnesses; and about three out of every 10 were drug or alcohol addicts.
10-year plan
The 10-year plan has been in the works since 2006, involving city and Cumberland County officials, as well as organizations that help the homeless. Originally, the goal was to eradicate within a decade chronic homelessness, which is defined as people who have been on the streets for at least a year or have become homeless at least four times in three years. The plan's authors, however, opted to broaden the goals to include all the homeless.
The problem, Giles said, is that ending all forms of homelessness is impossible. Some people lose their homes after fires, job losses or spousal abuse -- circumstances that can't be prevented. "

Yes this is the face Fayetteville NC would love for the world to see... A face of humanity and reconstruction... I am all for that... But (wow buts everywhere in the room) Fayetteville NC must also deal with its own messes as well... No one is saying that the entire police force are renegades... It certainly does look like there ought to be some house cleaning in order try to right this wrong... It only take one bad apple to spoil the entire bunch...
I smell a root apple or two don't you???
Wow...
So where are the Al Sharpton's, Jesse Jackson's, Micheal Baisden's and the like??? For that matter, where are the local ministers from the thousands of churches this small city can boast of... One would think that they don't think this small life of a 3.8 gpa Fayetteville State student is important enough to speak out... Ok, if you can't speak now then forever hold your peace for truly God is the just judge... He will speak for the blood that still stains the street where the young man (K-Rock) was shot down with his hands up in cold blood...
It is time for "Change..."
We the people are ready for "Change!!!"
"K-Roc's" tragic death will not be in vain as long as there is "Change!!!" "K-Roc" is the hero here, because he turned his back to the past and thought about the future...

Go "K-Roc," we are all indebted to you...

Obama Remember: I am (Still) Mad as Hell and I'm Not taking it Sitting Down!!!"

'“CulturallyWow!!!
It is time to do something as "we the people" of the United States of America...It seems that when Bush don't get his way the fuel prices start going up... And when Bush gets what he wants, he rewards us by lowering the fuel cost...
I have not done a study but I can see and it looks that way to me... Either way, the people should be mad as hell. We must take action ourselves or we will boil over as a "culture!" How much more can we be expected to take... I have called all the organizations to ask what can be done... I blog about it all the time... I talk about it all the time... But noone has an answer... I have an answer!!! Let's boycott Opec for weeks and file individual lawsuit against the energy dept... Even better, lets protest all around this nation at every gas station until the oil prices come down... Even better, let's all go on wellfare until the government, that is suppose to be for the people, gets the picture...
I am sure you can hear my frustration and I am not alone... I don't know exactly what we can do but one thing is for sure, we have got to do something...We the people of the United States are going to have to take charge of our own dsetiny other wise we are doomed... It might already be too late... I am afraid that if something isn't done soon, the dollar is going to be in the drench and we are going to be begging the third world for help...
Now of course there are those "Fat Cats" that have stashed tons of euros away from kickbacks and down right thief from our tax dollars who don't give a damn, but for most of us this is the only country we have... If we don't do something, who's fault will it be??? If we don't do something, what kind of future will we have???
This is a sad story...
What in hell were we fighting for all over the world to come home to ruin??? Is this crazy or what...It is getting really ugly out here and we are the ones looking bad... Like I said, I am mad as hell and I am ready to do something drastic... When John Lewis was in the the fight for "civil rights," he along with Andy, Jessie, Martin and the like did something drastic to make change happen... No, I am not talking about something violent, that is not me... But I am seriously talking about something drastic... I can not imagine how "Wall Street" gets a bump when oil prices go up... Dahhhhh!!!
We must do something drastic enough to get the attention of our sleeping or out to lunch government... I don't believe the President even realize "how fuel prices are defining our culture???" And our governing body representatives make too much money and don't feel the pain of us average folk... I hope CNN, MSNBC, and any other media outlet will call me in order to start this conversation...
As most of you know, I use to drive a "big truck" as a day job (until I am discovered :)) and it costed me $4:00 per gallon... That's 150gals everyday... And no, the shipper don't cover all the fuel cost... If you are wondering why the cost of everything is going up check out the cost of diesel... Prices will rise in direct collation with fuel cost... Now ladies and gentlemen, that means the increase is pasted down to us... Dahhhhhh!!!
"I am (Still) Mad as Hell and I'm not taking it Sitting Down!!!

“Obama/Palin: When Cultures Collide!!!” or “Palin: Just another Pretty Woman!!!”

Wow…
THis stuff just keep getting better and better,,,
You know, it is amazing to see how “culture” so greatly effect this historical presidential campaign…
So lets take a look at it…
First of all, it looks like Obama is having an “Hillary Clinton” moment…What am I talking about here???Well I will tell you…When Obama got the “Big Mo” from “Ms O,” it rocked “Hillary” back on her hills (no pun intended)… What Hillary did not understand was that she was experiencing a full frontal cultural assault… This was the worst thing that could have happened to her because throughout all her years in politics, she nor Bill had never ran against a person who could ride the wave of culture to victory…Hillary needed a crash course into “Cultural Diversity” which I hope I was a good source… But (there is that but in the room) Hillary did not catch on until very late in her campaign… Bill never did catch on…
Well there is a saying that says, “What goes around, comes around…
”Well, Obama meet Palin…Talk about a cultural divide…Wow…Now if Obama is not a quick study, he will suffer the same fate that Hillary did…There is only a short “window of burn” before Palin will be at “Thottle up,” and we know what happens then…So how did Obama use “Culture” to defeat Hillary? It is simple, he was just being himself…You see culture is something that you are not something that you have to try to be…So if Obama want to stop the “Palin Burn” he must do what he did against Hillary (which should be easier because Palin is not the nominee. She is more like Bill), just be himself…A better way of looking at it is, “Let your cultural self shine through…”Sounds simple?Well it is!Obama must realize that Palin is being herself… What you see if what you get (that is worth a mil right there)… What you she in Palin is another “Pretty face…” People are attracted to a pretty face… What else do you see in Palin, she is also a very good charismatic speaker, but (Another big but in the room) without the substance to back it up…And lastly, what else do we she about Palin, is that she is the epidome of feminism - she is a woman and she lets everybody know it…So what is the “bridge to culture” that separate these “two dynamic people???”Simply, it is she is the only woman in the race…By being the only woman in the race give her a cultural dynamic that give her room to do as she pleases… Women who are middle of the roaders could feel a sense of cultural commonality… But (man there is that but again) just being woman is not enough to keep this train on the track… Our society is full of the girls next door sorta women who are the hard working highly educated spiritually honest woman’s greatest nightmare… The middle of the roaders can do about anything and it is ok… But the accomplish hard working highly educated woman who does not want to be known as just another pretty face with nice legs, but she must maintain a higher standard… So Obama must let Palin’s own cultural DNA be her dimize… Palin is more of a fade than real substance… Palin will dummy down the efforts of all women and roll back the hand of the feminist clock if she is the elected VP… Women will all over america, regardless to their level of accomplishment will become just another pretty face with nice legs…Huhhhhh…If that is the future of the “state of women” in america, then it is back to the “Pretty woman treatment” for all women…Wow…Obama need only run on the same cultural principle he has been running on until now…Obama is a black guy…Wow…If he did not know this before, the people that are going to vote for him will not because he is black but inspite of it… They will vote for Obama simply because he has new ideas and he can relate to all people… McCain need Palin to complete him, Obama is complete by himself…It is Obama’s cultural difference that cause people to realize that the character of this man… He has overcame just about every obstacle one can to get to where he is… And besides, Obama has a cultural difference that noone else in the race has, he is the only black guy… If Palin is playing the middle of the road female that needs a shero, Obama is playing the “Yes we can” role for all the hopeful people out there who is tired of the “dummy downs” running things…Years ago, I had a conversation with a young lady who described the Bush twins as the smart one and the dumb one (just so happens one is blonde - you connect the dots). Then she began to say that the smart twin hangs out with her mom and the dumb twin hangs out with her dad (I am sure you can figure out what she was referring too)… At the time, it was simply conversation, but ( big black but in the room) it did let me know how sensitive women are to how they are preceived by their peers… Either way, if Obama was OJ Simpson, I would not vote for Him because whether OJ was guilty of killilng his wife is unsure, but (another big black but in the room) one thing is for sure, “He is a big black dummy!”Obama, win or lose; makes me proud to have the opportunity to vote for him… Obama is the new standard for how America can be…Wow…This stuff is really getting good…Obama must realize that it does not matter who McCain chose as a running mate the haters were still going to come out for him/her…Haters hate harder than they love…So Mr Obama, do what you do; Big high energy rallies with rock star status…And it is time to remind your people again the things you echoed over and over again during the last eighteen months, “yes we can!!!”Wow…Aint this some good stuff???Well, you guys know I like to keep it exciting…Lets just say that there is one thing McCain likes to keep constant in his life and that is a “Pretty Woman!!!” When McCain talks about honour, I can’t help but think about his first wife… I am confused to how he could leave her (if the stories are true) for just another “Pretty Woman!” Just food for thought…If McCain was truly a man of honour, he would not have left his first wife because of a horrible accident which left her disfigured… McCain reminds me of a great old song, “I’m so Vain!!!”“BO” needs to stick with what “BO” Knows, how to “ROck the House” with all of us and “Ms O!!!”It is time for another great Youtube vid and another night time rally under the stars… Lets dance…Invite Bush, he can dance…Besides, Bush don’t give a damn about J-Mc anyway…That was obvious eight years ago and every time J-Mc breaks from the Reps made Bush look bad…J- Mc is a lifesaver and BO is a yummy bear and JB is a Cup of Joe, then what is Palin???Oh lets see, “Alaskan Moose…”Wow…
Good stuff!!!

"Obama vs Palin: Look Who's Watching!!!"

Wow...Ain't this some exciting stuff or what???
Ok ladies and gentlemen the conventions are over, so it's "Game on?"
If who watched is any reflection on the winner of this competition, then it's "Game over!"

Check this...
Culturally, it has always been only in sports did a "Black Guy" win the race... Well here we have a guy who is leading the "Who Watched" race by millions...

Wow...

38 Million View Obama’s Speech; Highest-Rated Convention In HistoryBy Brian Stelter
The 38 million figure from Nielsen includes the audience on ten networks: ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX News Channel, MSNBC, BET, TV One, Univision and Telemundo. It does not include PBS or C-SPAN, which also carried the address live. PBS estimated that it averaged 3.5 million viewers between 8 and 11 p.m.http://tvdecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/08/29/conventions-38-million-view-obamas-speech/

Therefore based on this article Obama had more than 41.5 Million "Who Watched Obama!" Wow...That is an exciting statistic...
Now check this, Palin got over 40 million viewers herself... An audience of 37.2 million people watched Palin on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC, Nielsen Media Research said Thursday. PBS estimated its audience at 3.9 million, based on a less reliable sample of several big cities. Nielsen does not count the audience for C-SPAN, which also showed the speech.
http://news.yahoo.com/story//ap/20080904/ap_en_tv/cvn_palin_s_audience

That's 41.1 Million "Who Watched Palin!"Now that does get a big "Wow..."The numbers are not in yet but I would not be surprised if J-Mc does not get nearly that amount of "Who Watched!" When I was in the service it was the senior staffer that got the props... To be showed up by your second I believe speaks volumes about the number one... I hope J-Mc counted up the cost when he picked a person as a running mate who's credential and standards are so different from his own.

This is what I call a

"Political Boomerang!"

Culturally, the "veep" is sured not to be a threat of up-staging the the Pres... To use Palin now is to be used by her later... "Political Boomerang!!!"Dahhhhhhh!!!"
Now you know I like to keep it interesting...Check it...I would feel a little slighted if I were J-Mc that Ms SP is getting all the attention and he is the "Reps" nominee... It's all in the numbers baby... If J-Mc fails to win the "Big Pres," he will be remembered for only one thing, "launching" Ms SP's political career...

Wow...

J-Mc turns the light from himself and gives it all to a virtually unknown with the nick-name "Barracuda -which BTW means a greedy, solitary, predator!"

Wow...

"What was J-Mc thinking" is the question that comes to mind..." And he talks of judgment??? I guess he has never watch an episode of "survivor - alignancies are made to be broken, especially when it benefits the person looking for immunity!"

I would "Trump" the "Mother of Five" before she "Trumps" you J-Mc... She is a "Political Liability" for your sense of judgment and sinks your new mantra, "country first!"

"So What in the words, "Greedy, Solitary, Predator" which sounds like it supports that mantra???" Not hating, just making an observation...Wow...All headlines talk about "Obama and Palin... Let's see McCain, what is wrong with that picture???"

I will help you out, "YOU ARE THE "REPS" NOMINEE!"
Dahhhhhhh!!!"
"Let's see; is it three, five, seven, or nine?"
"It doesn't matter because everybody knows how many of everything Ms Palin has..."

"Palin: Don't hold a Candle to Hillary!!!"

Wow...
This stuff just keeps getting better and better and better...
Wow...
You Know, before the "Reps" Veep started to speak, I was a blank page... I must say, I had great anticipation because this was to be the counter to Hillary... And we all know the credentials that Hillary has... So in my mind, this woman that the "Reps" picked would have to be outstanding in every way...
I am sure unlike others I tried not to get caught up in what the media had been reporting all day...
I wanted to give the "Reps" pick a fighting chance...
Now you all know that I am not bias in any way but always leaning on the side of "Culture!" So from a cultural stand point, the Williams sister match-up had my attention even up until the speech began...
Needless to say, the match was great...
So after, watching one of the greatest matches in History, I was ready to cheer just about for anybody...
I know you feel me...
BUT (there is that great big bad but in the room) this historic speak began and the disappointment began to roll... My first thought was this woman does not hold a candle to Hillary... For the most part, regardless of who had won the "Dems" nomination, Hillary or Obama, they would be a great representative... One only has to look at a person's resume to see if that person adds up to the task put before them... I know that the resume does not always give the hold picture, it is just a great place to start... I have always considered the "Reps" as a party of the highest standards...
But (there is that but again) this convention has changed my mind...
I am reminded of a joke I heard years ago...
The short of it is, "Frog's with no legs, can't hear!!!"
Wow...
Check it...
Lets get right at it...
I ain't hating, just making an observation...

***Disclaimer Here: For all you haters out there, this is America and anyone who speaks there mind is merely exercising their right to the freedoms this great nation stands for... So if you don't like it, don't read it!!! Dahhhh***

As I sat listening to the speech, I began to feel like I was at a PTA meeting... I didn't get the feeling that this person talking was diplomatic or professional for that matter... I hope the watered down approach, was planned and not just the way it happened...
Needless to say, that for me the speech went down hill from there... I tried to find a pivot point from which to draw a comparison that I could build on in order to develop a story worth repeating...
Oopses...
It never happened...
The one thing that was predominate during the speech was the roaring which seemed very much orchestrated applauds after every line she spoke...
This made the speech began to sound like a late night monologue...
I guess J had better watch out, she could be taking his place soon... I was also appalled at the way the "Reps" seem to mark step with each event that seem to occur effortlessly during the "Dems" convention...
In short, they seems very unoriginal but trying very hard to stay up... If this was a real race and the two candidates had to actually run a foot race against each other, there would be no race... Obama would beat McCain hands down...
Comparing the two convention, that the graphic that comes to mind... The "Reps" know that there is no way their nominee can out run the "Dems" so they struggle to add things to the course to trip Obama up... Well Palin is one of those things that the "Reps" hope with assist in tripping up or slowing Obama down...
I don't think it is working...
My brother has PTSD military related, being treated throught he VA hospital... He talks as if he is still in the military everyday... He does not believe anyone who tells hims different than he believes, but (that but again) in his mind his facts are the true facts...
So it is all in his mind...
I think when the "Reps" say that their secret weapon is the answer-all to all their woes, I say, "it is all in their head..."
J-Mc truly has an impressive resume, but (wow, big but again) all old soldier lose a step... Their brass get dull and their uniform doesn't quite fit the same... Their song bird voice begins to wean and they lose their "nine to the front and ten to the rear..." The "Reps" are trying to use a no-name Governor of a very small populous to energize the pace-maker in their party...

Wow...
Ain't this some really exciting stuff...

Now you all know that I like to keep it interesting... I want to address some of the attributes of the "Reps" new Veep...
First of all, she claim to be able to field dress a "Moose!"
I don't know about any of you, but (man that but keeps showing up) I have seen a "Moose!"
This is a massive beast who's young are big as horses... So the idea that "Ms Veep" could barely move parts of this animal to dress it is amazing...
Need I say more???
Dahhhhh!!!

Secondly, the joke about a "Hockey Mom?"
From what part of the country was she referring too???
I know quite a few "Hockey Moms" who would take issue at this joke...
I will leave it at that...

Now thirdly, Do any of you know what a "Barracuda" looks like and is normally referred too???
The barracuda is a ray-finned fish known for its large size (up to 6 ft in length and up to a foot in width, for some species [2]) and fearsome appearance. Its body is long, fairly compressed, and covered with small, smooth scales. It is found in tropical and subtropical oceans worldwide.Barracudas are elongated fish with powerful jaws. The lower jaw of the large mouth juts out beyond the upper. Barracudas possess strong, fang-like teeth. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.divemagazine.co.uk/news/images/Barracuda2006SRogerson1.jpg&imgrefurl
Barracudas occur both singly and in schools around reefs, but also appear in open seas. They are voracious predators and hunt using a classic example of lie-in-wait or ambush. They rely on surprise and short bursts of speed to overrun their prey, sacrificing maneuverability.

The larger barracudas are more or less solitary in their habits...
Now the slang definition is
2. Slang. a treacherous, greedy person.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/barracuda

Wow...
I guess if the shoe fits????

Either way, whether we dummy down or beef up, what remains the same is that we are the ones that will have to live with our decisions in the voting booth...

Wow...
Exciting stuff...

But (big fat black but in the room)

"Change vs The Status Quo!"

Wow...
Ain't this some exciting stuff or what...
How about the "Dems" convention??? Awesome huh???
That's what I call, "Bringing it!!!"
Now lets see how the "Reps" plan to "Upstage" that... Take my advise "invite the President."
It is going to look bad if you don't... The Dems had two Pres and a VP... So the Reps have to at least see the two and raise them a couple VP's...
Besides, Bush has a ways of exciting a party, if you know what I mean... If the Reps dont "Bring it" with the same or at least similar intensity, they will lose by virtue of "Lack of creativity and excitement..." Now, J-Mc really does have good taste in women... Isn't it kind of interesting though that "Ms Palin looks alot like Ms Iseman (difference is hair color)..." I'm not saying that these two women could be twins but it is just interesting to me that J-Mc's picks all have a very similar look... I aint hating, just appreciating... Obama says, "J-Mc don't get it.." There is a lot of truth in that... J-Mc must "get" that people were going to make the comparison, so he has to have his story ready in advance... Don't mind me, I am just thinking out loud...
But Check this...
Now the Reps are going to have to explain that when they say Obama aint nothing but fluff, then there is Ms Palin... Hummmmmm!
WOw...
Some exciting stuff or what???
So now the Reps are calling this pick "change..." Looks more like "the status quo" for J-Mc... There are countless numbers of more qualified women on trhe "Reps" side of the house that J-Mc could have chosen. Instead McCain went with his same ol same ol... There is one thing that can be said about Ms Palin, she has the girl next door kind of look... Now J-Mc could have really brought change to the ticket by choosing "Ms Rice!" Does this have anything to do with the Reps having a problem voting for a black person??? Hummmmmm...
Noone can deny that Hillary was a person of substance...

Ms Palin is change but is she the just another pretty face you want running the country if something happens to J-Mc???

Apparrently the Reps have no problem with it... Now Obama's pick for Veep brought balance to the Dems ticket but will it matter if whites can't see themself voting for a black guy or girl for that matter... One would hope that the vote for the person to lead the greatest nation in the world would be that of a serious nature... One where the person voted in is one who has the confidence to exercute the duties of the office with due diligence...
So it boils down to "Change vs the Status Quo!"
Can Americans do what John McCain could not do, vote for the person who will not only be a great representative for all American but the world... If we as a people make the wrong choice we put ourselves in a much more negative light to the rest of the world...
Democracy is on trial here...
Our constitution is being held hostage until our vote for the right person sets her free...
Our credibility around the world is in question until we stand up and do the right thing...
We have a lot at stake here with this vote...
Democrat or Republican, we must hold up the seriousness of the things that make us proud to be called an American... Well, as one lady put it, we have two months to make this decision... Either way, in the end, we will be judged for our actions...
History aside, thats my "Cultural Observation" of the matter...
Obama has proven to mostly every "conscious person with a heart beat," that he is respected domestically and internationally... Obama will bring credibility to the office of the presidency... What will an old respected war hero and another pretty face do for our credibility around the world??? Not knocking McCain for his age but just putting the facts together, even though most respected, the fact remains that J-Mc finished fifth from the bottom in his class even with all the tutors his daddy could hire... Secondly he could not beat George Bush eight years ago when he was a lot younger... And last but not least, everyone knows that the older one gets the slower and more eratic things begin to work... At least Reagan had George H Bush, who had several years of experience behind him...
Don't mind me, I am just speaking out loud...

Well McCain would probably be the oldest leader in the world... Ms Palin does bring young kids to the ticket...
Lets check that box...
She also brings a sense of fashion - can't wait for the fashion reviews...
In order for her to really make a difference, she must be able to connect with young people... Well Obama has a firm grip on that handle...
So we must wait on the show...
Wow...

Wow...

Does this stuff keep getting more and more exciting or what???
Check it...
Another night of CNN's doc "Black in America..."
Did I say before now that "no matter how you present crap, it still smells like crap???"

Wow...
"This doc is still crap..."

The pre - doc interviews are better than the doc itself...
Thank God they are because without them we would be dished up some really nasty stuff - if you know what I mean?

Ms Oreo, had the Audacity to preface this crap by the following:
"What it's like to be "Black in America?"

"Give - me - a - break..."
"That's the biggest fairy tale I have ever seen..."
"Yeah, what Bill said..."

As a good friend of mine put it, "if this is what it is like being black in America then we as a people (of American) are in trouble... No wonder "whites in America" think about us the way they do if this crap is a true reflection of "Black - N - America... ""

Who's the blame???
Well "culturally," we as a people are where we are as a direct result of "1441..."
"So don't believe the Hype?"
Where is "Chuck" when you need him...

The following is my response to the "Hype!"

"Ancestry, Predecestry, and Successtry: Black - N - America..."
Never forget...

We've lived through;
persecution, mutilation, social devastation, excruciating pain;
bondage, shackles, thrashings, bashings;
the ravaging of the motherland.

We've survived starvation,
dehydration, inflammation, that horrible trip;
tossing, tipping, constant dripping, sea sickness;
the belly of the ship...

We've endured indignation,
humiliation, sequestration,
the stripping of our souls;
Desecration, degeneration, castration,
the market place,
being sold...

We've drudged through war,
brother against brother, blood, mason dixon,
the blue and the grey;
Destruction, emancipation, reconstruction,
forty acres, broken promises;
What mule?
No pay...

We've overcome racism,
discrimination, segregation, deprivation,
generations of being second class...
Alienation, degradation, mortification,
all sorts of derogatories;
thank God free at last...

Now we live with a simulation of freedom,
equality, prosperity, liberty,
and justice for all...

The black, the green, the red, the white, the blue;
African, American;
Standing strong;
Standing tall...

So never, never, never, never;
Never Forget!!!

"The Ancestors Speak!!!"

Now run and tell that...

"Black - N - America!"

"First Ask Permission!!!"

Wow...

This stuff just keeps getting more and more exciting everyday...
Check it...

CNN spent, I am sure, several thousands of dollars to shove this crap down our throats... The interesting thing about crap is that no matter how you present it, it still stinks... It felt good to get that out... I am sitting here watching this so-called documentary saying to myself, "who produced this warmed over crap???" "

This is a propaganda series that is not painting a realistic picture of our community... Culturally, when one looks at the black community, it is impossible to negate the "historical dynamic..." One has to answer several questions before trying to put together an effective enlightening documentary... First, who is a black person???
Second, why is a black person considered black???
Third, how far has a black people come from???
Fourth, what point is to be made about a black people???
Fifth, when did the desired points of interest become a major component of a black people's lives???
Six, where is this documentary leading the social belief of this people???
Seven, is this documentary a true representation of the black community at large???
So the "Culturally Conscious" must be able to see threw the crap and address the real in the midst of the crap... Not to discuss it with the white community (who after this crap aires will probably say they are now justified in feeling the way they do about black people) but (but in the room) to make a difference...

Now, lets get real with the "the true blacks in America...
Wait a minute...
I am culturally conscious therefore everything in based on cause and effect...
Oppsss...
Someone is IM-ing me...
Ok, is that right...?
You asked for it now, "Bring it, if you can..."

John: flunkies
John: the black women on this show are not the norm

Rut: so you say we don't appreciate the black man...where did you get that message...
Rut: I did not hear that message...
John: knowing that even though the black community has many problem but it is not of itself but is directly effected by the (white) community at large
Rut: I am tired of the blame game...what portion of the problem are we responsible for.
John: black people can not afford to buy into this crap because it will divide us even more as what this network CNN threw this Oreo is doing
Rut: so you feel this special is a dividing the community...wow...okay...you took the whole think as negative...
Rut: I have always worked in the black community...I grew up in the ghetto in Chicago...I pushed myself to get out...when my mom was telling me I couldn’t be nothing..
Rut: hell I know the story...I LIVED the story...the shootings, the lack of food...
John: How is it that we are passing the buck... when it took us four hundred years for the white masters to get us into this mess and now he makes the rule but you must be out in forty years or you must go back to school and we like little stupid people listen and say yes master...?
Rut: I made it out cause I wanted to...not because somebody gave me something...
Rut: I can have a very good job right now did not take my mothers situation on...but I made a sacrifice
Rut: where is the black man of the family...all my brothers are trying to steal from my mom...?
John: oh the contrary my dear friend... you made it out because several people die in a struggle against the powers that would not allow you to get out...
Rut: the white man has absolutely nothing to do with that.
John: your path out is stained with blood
Rut: and so is everyone else who makes it out or doesn't every try
Rut: I grab a hand back every time I can...
John: the white man has had it his way every since we have been here so we will never get a free break any way...
Rut: when do we stop the blame game...
Rut: take the energy used for blaming and work our way out of the mess
Rut: I work with can...and you work with can't
John: in order to identify a problem one must put blame or there is no problem... you are educated
Rut: the problem doesn't have to have blame...it has to exist. Even a solution doesn't have blame.
John: The CDC has looked for week to find the blame for the sicknesses tell them not to blame anything
John: the solution is because of the blame
Rut: problem is defined as a perplexing question
John: so let take blame out of the picture which is what the powers that be would love for us to do... then with out blame are just lazy no good immigrants that came to this country for a better life and did nothing with the opportunity...
John: If you believe that, I have some land in Florida I would love for you to look at...
Rut: no the CDC is looking for a solution...blame is different...it is to give fault
Rut: right...we have different opinions...I live in the positive and you live in the negative thought process
John: they blamed a pepper for all the recent sicknesses
John: Dah....
Rut: they found a strain of the virus in one of the peppers that was found in Mexico.
John: Tell the Jews of the holocaust to not place blame
Rut: the Jews placed blame and got paid
John: so why are they so special?
Rut: why haven't you got paid for placing blame on whites
Rut: cause it will not happen...
John: because they are not going to let the world forget the fact that their blood was shed...
Rut: move past it...live in the present and remember the past as a way to move forward
John: who said anything about getting paid...? I am talking about the way crap smells coming from the establishment and how we swallow it up so easily...
John: no other group swallows this crap
Rut: what crap are you talking about...
Rut: I keep telling you I live this mess everyday...so it is real to me...
Rut: moving forward is my way
John: this crap they are dishing out to us in this doc about how blacks are so bad and therefore the opposite must be that the majority group must be so good... But I saw the doc "Noose..."
Rut: so you see this as saying how black are at a disadvantage of whites and we will never get better and only a few of us are let into the inner circle
John: As a people, we are the strongest people on the planet...if we were not; we would have become extinct a hundred years ago...
John: As a people, we are the strongest people on the planet...if we were not; we would have become extinct a hundred years ago...
Rut: we as a people don’t exploit our strength...I would rather teach a child to be strong then give a child everything and teach them how to be weak
John: when you haven’t eaten in a while you might make a mess when you first get a taste...

Wow...
Now that's enough...
Let me say, I have nothing against anyone except when you come into the black community to address our problems first, "ask permission..." That would be the respectful thing to do...
The blame game is as old as dirt itself but its not the same dirt equally shared by all...
Go figure...
The one thing that should come out of this "year long pile of crap," is that we (us true black people who are living this everyday) will begin a dialogue...

Wow…
Can you feel me???
Do you feel like I do???
Let me hear you say, “Yes, yes, yes we can!”

"If you don't say so???
"Bring it!!!" They call that "expressing yo self..."
But (yes a big black but in the room)...

"First Ask Permission..."

"The Obama Bandwagon: Bill jumped On, Jesse Jumped off!!!"

Wow...Does this stuff get any better than???
I am sure it will...
Wow...

This is some exciting stuff...OK, lets get right at it...
There is a great "Cultural Collision" the Pulpit and Politics...

On the one hand, you have "Rev. Jesse" putting, not one but both feet in his mouth...
Now we know that Jesse is "politically conscious," but of late has been "culturally stupid..." Now Jesse is not acting out without cause... I believe that Jesse is feeling left down by the "New Voice" of his people... Not only is Jesse being, what a baller on the street would called, "critically disrespected," he is also being shut out by his successor... Can all the Jesse be place solely in Jesse's camp... I say not...Obama is also liable with his actions... You see, culturally we as a people, have always backed a leaders with strong personalities and big ego es... Now we see here two black leaders that are of these characteristics... This is a recipe for "cultural self destruction" unless both men not "man up" but "step up!!!"

Yes, both of these men need to "step up" and take their proper place in history... For Jesse, he must step up and become the "ambassador of the civil rights social justice movement..." For Obama, he must step up and not practice the "politics of disrespect" but the "art of unification..." Plain and simple, Obama must realize that it was his ancestors who bled, sweat, and died for his (Obama) predecessor (Jesse) to pave the way for him (Obama) to succeed... Succeed as a successor and succeed in doing what the previous two could not...Simply, Obama needs to call Jesse and acknowledge his ambassadorship opening the door for real unification... It is Obama who directs who rides the Obama bandwagon must offer Jesse a sit... Jesse, right now, has jumped off...

Oh BTW, Bill Clinton is now clearly and firmly affixed on board... Whether by choice or force...Wow...DO you feel me???I hope the Obama camp will "Step up" and make the call... The bible says, "Charity begins at home..." Before Obama can win the world, he must first win over "Jesse!!!" Without doing so, Obama is just another politician practicing politics as usual... Get the picture???So as Rob Bass said, "it takes two to make a thing go right..." So Mr Obama, lets make a thing go right...

Wow...
"Can you feel me???Do you feel me???
Let me hear you say, yeah, yeah, yes, yes we can..."
Now y'all know I like to keep it exciting...

Firstly, So what about the CNN specials I will just call "Black N America???"
Culturally, it is a rehash of old smear, tear, and toss tactics...

Unlike "Noose" by Kyra Phillips, this series already stinks... Ms P, did an excellent non bias job of pulling the truth out of people and when she did not think she was getting the truth, she reported it... Ms O'Brien, has a horse in this race which I believe clouds her perspective... Of course, the hold story is yet to be seen but from first impressions, it is a one sided (warmed over) negative perspective...

Secondly, Black Bloggers meet in Atl... There goes the farm... It seems that as soon as a group of us get together to talk we forget what we ought to be talking about... Blacks don't blog nearly enough and right now those of us who are serious and objective are few far between... I hope that the opposite happens than the norm, more of us will began to be serious about changing our community by blogging our true feelings... So all of you bloggers who attended the gathering this weekend, please lets not forget what our purpose is???
"Not hating just appreciating..."
Check it...
Now if you are a hater, then "Bring it!!!"

Either way... Its for real...

"Jesse's "Unresolved Issues" with Obama...""

Wow…
This stuff just keeps getting gooder and gooder…
Did I say, “Wow or what???”
Ok, let get right at it…
Check it, in church this weekend at CCC, the young minister began his sermon with a very familiar scripture, “John 8:1-11” the woman caught in adultery. He then took the topic “Unresolved Issues…”

Wow…

My mind immediately flashed to the “Jesse and Obama” Drama… I said out loud, “that’s it; Jesse’s unresolved issues” with Obama…”” The young minister went on to say that all the accused accusers were holding stones… These were stones of inferiority; stones of envy; stones of jealousy; stones of strife; stones of prejudices; so forth and so on!Wow…That was really a powerful statement…

I began to see clearly the “Cultural dynamics” between these two Brothas from the same hood…It was obvious that Jesse has “unresolved issues” with Obama… It is obvious that Jesse is holding all the stones the young minister spoke about… Now the next question was why???
Why was Jesse holding all these stones against Obama???What were the issues that caused Jesse to “implode before he exploded” on a National news network… Well, as the young minister so eloquently put it, “we all have unresolved issues… Just as the accused, we all must address these issues individually… And just as each of her accusers did, we must all drop our stones and move on… “

Wow…
That’s some powerful stuff…
So has Jesse resolved his issues with Obama…?
I dare say not…
I doubt he has even called Obama…
I believe that Jesse’s issues are built on the stones of jealousy and envy…
I believe it is time for Jesse to do as Jesse Jr. said, “Stop and Keep hope alive…”
Jesse needs to stop trying to be the “next great black leader” because his time is in its twilight stage…
Jesse has done some great things during his watch but (wow, a big but in the room) now it is time for new leadership… If Jesse really wants to maintain his legacy, he needs to spend the rest of his time choosing his successor… These aint the sixties, these be the zero years… There is a highly motivated generation of twenty and thirty-something eagerly waiting respectfully to take their turn… So Jesse, do what your mantra has been for years, “keep hope alive” in your successor…

I have from a very reliable source that Jesse’s Rainbow PUSH recent convention was lacking something that Obama has quite successfully conquered in all of his “rock star” campaigning, “Twenty and Thirty something’s…” Yes, there is a major disconnect between the old leaders and the young leaders… This is a reflection on the leadership (of PUSH) not a lack of twenty and thirty somethings that are ready and willing to lead… But (there goes that big but again) Obama has reinvigorated millions of twenty and thirty somethings… This group has become the largest most culturally conscious “registered” voting block since the sixties… And as the young minister stated in his closing remarks, “ we all have our own dirty windows that need cleaning before we try to throw a stone at someone else’s window…”Can you feel me???Do you feel like I do???Let me hear you say,

“Yes, yes, yes we can…

Now, you all know, I like to keep it exciting…
America has its own “unresolved issues” that
must be dealt with…
CNN is doing a series call, “what it is like being black in America???”
This along speaks volumes about the “unresolved issues” we as Americans face everyday… Ms O’Brien is probably not the right person to host this series because “she herself could have”unresolved issues” about her Blackness!!!””
I Believe Ms Phillips would have done a better job because she does not have a dog in the race… Ms Phillips did an excellent job with an earlier documentary “Noose!”
Yes, America has its own “unresolved issues” that is apparent by the way we are addressed and handled by “the news media” in general…
Again, I have it from a very reliable source that “the news media” sometimes treats us as “Monkeys!” It was very obvious at the PUSH convention, my source said… They don’t take us seriously… And when a Jesse does a stunt, it simply reinforce their actions… Therefore if we are thought of as “monkeys” instead of serious people of color, then there is no wonder we as a people is so divided…
Monkeys can’t read…
Get the picture???
Whose fault is it???
That’s simple; it is all of our fault…
Firstly, the news media, because they have fired all the people of color from the (neighbor) hood…
Secondly, black leaders like Jesse, whose actions reinforce this notion…
Dah…
And thirdly, the rest of us people of color who sit back and say nothing…

Wow…

Isn’t that some messed up stuff???So what do we say to these things???
I don’t know exactly but (and there is that big black but again) one thing is for certain, it is time for the next generation to step up and say something for themselves…

Jesse’s “unresolved issues” with Obama…

"What does "Jesse's flip flop" have to do with a "wedgie???"

Wow...
Does this stuff get any better or what...
I mean never a dull moment...

Wow...

So lets get right at it...
First of all, what does "Jesse's flip flop" have to do with a "wedgie???"
Now that's what I call a "flip flop..." LOL!!!
The Obama camp is probably scouting out loud, "Now that's a "flip flop!""
And you know, they would be right...

Now culturally this is a collision of generations and struggles... It is the old colliding with the new... One former leader feeling slighted by a newer leader... It is the kinds of things that is good for the a culture as diverse as the Black and African American community... These types of clashes are not uncommon in our community but technology has made them public...

Thru out our history, there has been the outspoken leader that has same the disease that "Mr Hill" has suffered from recently, "Foot-n-mouth" disease... Now Jesse and Bill are good friends so I am sure they can consult each other about the best cure (most efficient way to get it out...)

One most important point that must be made here is that there has been a paradigm shift here similar to the one that happened in the sixties when "Jesse's" generation changed the name of a people from "Negro" to "Black..." Negro leaders were then as Jesse is today, feeling a little slighted and in some cases lashed out in similar fashion... But (but in the room) as time has attested, we as a people moved on as one people... So in short, this too shall pass...

So history tell us the story of how our people transcended from Niggers to Negroes, from Negroes to Colouds, from Colourds to Blacks, and now from Blacks to "African Americans...
Wow...
And each time we change our description, we gain and loose leaders/spokesmen... Barack Obama is the epitome of the description African American which allows him "the unique ability" to speak with greater consciousness to both sides of the house...
Oh yeah we have always been in the House...
I am sure you know what I mean...
Dah...

As I said in an earlier post, Obama is "Standing in "Jesse's shadow..."" Like it or not, it is true... So in some respects it gives "Jesse" the right to critique Obama but (yes another big ass but) just not in an open forum...

"Now why don't you just run and tell that..."

Yeah Jesse is an icon of our civil rights movement and shall never be forgotten, but (and here is another big but in the room) this is as "Ms O" says so well,

"Obama Time!!!"

Besides what does "Jesse's flip flop" have to do with a "wedgie" anyway...
ooopppppssssssssss!!!

"Can you feel my vibe???
Can you feel me???
I just want to know???
Do you feel the way I do???
Do you???
Well, let me hear you say,
"Yeah, Yeah, Yes, Yes we can!!!

"Does "Ms BO" know???"

“Ms BO” might have a thang with “Ms O,” But she seems to have no deal for “Hill or Bill…”

Wow…
This stuff just keeps getting gooder and gooder…
Let’s get right at it…

While in a culturally conscious conversation it was brought to me attention that “Ms BO” could very well be a stumbling block for “Ms Hill” becoming number two…
Ooooooh Nooooo!!!
Don’t say it is soooooo!!!
Well I would not bet the farm on it but as betting goes the odds are looking good… For me it has been “Mr. Hill” I thought had the problem, but “Mr. Hill” stepped up to the bat and tipped his hat… So of course, the Obama camp gets the tag… Now we know that “Ms BO” might have a thang with “Ms O,” But Ms BO seems to have no deal for “Hill or Bill…”

Like I said, “I would not bet the farm on it but the odd do look good… Let me expound… First of all, Out of the foursome, “Ms BO” is the only one that has not step up to the bat and let her position be known… Hat or no hat, “Ms BO” must be conscious to the fact that culturally she is the most influential black woman in the world…

So now, the odds are getting better by the minute… The other thing is “Ms BO” by her nature as a black woman, and believe me I know “Black Women,” has a long memory… Black women don’t forget quickly… They will smile with you, carry on conversation with a smile, but (and boy is this is a big black but in the room) when the time is right, she will tell you how some eons before you said, “………” Man you be totally forgotten about it, in your mind it is all over, but (there’s that big black but again) she (black woman) will bring it back to your memory… Yes, the odd are getting better and better… Oh wow, I am reaching for my Benjamins already…
Last but (Yeap big black but) certainly not least, it is “a woman thang…” Yes, I said it… Culturally for eons women just have not been able to get along… Now I am not saying that they won’t work together but (another big and I mean big black but in the room) they will use everything in their arsenal to take the top position… The Alpha female if you will… Oh yeah “BO” might know something about “politics but (Yeap another big one in the room) “BO” better know something about “the nature of women…” Where is “Van Zandt” when you need her??? Oh Yes, oh yes, I have got to get me a piece of this action… I can hear
“Ms G” right now and it ain’t pretty…

Wow…
Ain’t this some exciting stuff or what???

Now why don’t you just “Run and tell that!!!” LOL!!!

"Did Black Women Drop the BalLII???"'

Wow...
Ain't this some exciting stuff???

I got so much feedback from this post that it inspired me to post this one comment and then give my response...
But first rewatch this clip below if you have not... Then check out the following comment and my response...
So check out the video link below and you tell me "what is really going on???"

Black Women Dropped the Ball(Attitude,Weave and Disrespect) - The most popular videos are a click away

So what the problem is???

So check out this comment From Ms Huff in her own words:

You asked me to comment on the post "Did Women Drop the Ball" so here it is. First of all, it seems as though this young lady is referring to "all black women", and I don't feel like that is the case. Our ancestors brought us from "a mighty long way", and our older generations has continuously fought for our younger generations to take a look at where we have come from and be proud of who you are. Unfortunately, a lot of the younger generations have taken the term "freedom of speech" to a whole new level. With the new laws about what we can and can't do with our own children, the inability to protect and raise our kids the way our ancestors did, and the government being able to screw us anyway they want to, its not a wonder that our young people are falling between the cracks. Please don't put this on the black women as a whole. Its a combination of people doing what you have to do to survive, men and women not having the strong sense of respect for each other that was so evident years ago when there was no such thing as You Tube, My Space, etc. The size of your butt, the color of your hair, eyes, etc has nothing to do with whether or not you are trying to be something you are not - it has to do with your spirit. GOD made all of us equal, so if you want to wear your hair long and blonde or short and nappy, that is your preference, and that won't make you a better person then the next, it is what is in your soul. Since almost the beginning of time, women found out that "sex sales" and they have been exploited or have exploited themselves to do what was needed to take care of themselves and their families. I am not saying that it is right, I am saying that it is a way of life, and at this day in time, women just don't do it to survive, they do it for fun and to get what they want. However, if the men weren't there asking for it, they would have to figure out a new way of earning money, i.e. going to school, getting a job, etc. So for me, the bottom line is that its not just the black women that are at fault, its the black women, men, white, women, men, the government, the society, and the times we are living in. I am just very hopeful that Mr. Obama will give our young black people a new source of pride and reason to change their way of thinking.

Wow...
Was that awesome or what???
I got alot of feedback but none like this comment... I hope to hear from the rest of you...
As a "Culturally Conscious" commentator, I was emphatically culturally invigorated to spit this piece... Here it is real, right at you, and with feeling...

Yes, my beautiful black sista, I believe I must be able to handle it for you and all the beautiful black sistas every where, for if not I then who??? Who knows you the way I do, my black sista??? Who sees you the way I do, my beautiful sista??? Who's lips fit yours the way mine do, my beautiful black sista??? And who's sperm can unite with your egg to create another of God's perfect creations that looks like me and you my strong intelligent beautiful black sista???
Only your true black brotha, my strong intelligent articulate beautiful black sista...

So I must, we must, step up to the challenge inspite of our pass reputation... For that is the only way, another generation of black sistas and black brothas will be able to walk the planet knowing each time they look into the mirror that we made this pledge...

Besides that there aint nothing more sweeter, with an aroma more appealling, and looks more tastee, than your "Deep Dish Blue Berry Pie!!!" Yum Yum...

Hummmmm???
This matter is too serious to play with it... You got something to say, then say it....
We are all listening...
We will never fix it if we don't address it... Call everyone you know... Call "Ms O!"
Call "BO!"
Text, write, and email every brotha and sista you know... It is that serious... Otherwise, this sista is right, you did drop the ball??? Dah...

Let me feel you....

Otherwise Shut-Da-F__K-Up!!!
Because you are the problem and has chosen that you don't want to be apart of the solution... Or you Dropped the ball and don't give a Damn... The one thing I can not consciously stomach is just negativity toward the black sista that have the audacity to "Bring it!" Raw, with feeling, and a strong ancestral vibe that cannot be denied...

So where do you stand???

"Did Black Women Drop the BallII???"
