About Me

My photo
Culturally Conscious
I believe this original poem says it all! Here I Sit! Apr 94. Here I sit, full of life, dreams and desires, I want so badly to be something, But I don’t know how. I know if given the chance, I could change the world, But without the opportunity, It’s just a wishful dream, a ship without a sail. So here I sit, Fighting the hurt and the pain, Another talented artist, without a future, Without a name. With dreams unfulfilled, what shall I do, I wish some how, I could express the way I feel to you. But, here I sit, hoping things will change, Someone will hear about me, Someone will know my name, and open a door, that I might walk through, To show the world who I am, Exactly what I can do. But for now, here I sit; hoping, believing, clinging to my dreams, with every ounce of my strength, with every inch of my being. There is no stopping now, I’ve got to find a way, maybe one day soon, Maybe one day. Things will happen for me, things will change, Someone will see my hurt, someone will feel my pain. And when they do, I’ll be ready you see, To show the world who I am, To show the world me. But until then, Here I sit!
